Dr. Ulrich Anders, Professor of Strategic Management at the Cologne Business School (CBS), will lead through the 3rd Future Workshop Procurement of amc and CBS on 26th of September 2019 at the Design Offices in Cologne. The event looks into future agile working worlds and organizational forms of procurement. Moderator Dr. Ulrich Anders explains why Procurement should intensively deal with the agile principles: „Agility is not only needed in the market, but also in the internal service departments such as Procurement, HR, IT or Accounting. They are the support through which companies generate part of their strength.“
The topic of the future workshop „Redefining the value contribution of procurement with agile methods“ will be developed step by step together with us. The following procedure awaits you:
- Keynote Dr. Ulrich Anders Introduction to agile world and agile working.
- Agile Project „Purchasing as a Product” In agile sprints you will develop a new business model for procurement with a cost and service model and a marketing concept. In the following pitch the different concepts are presented and a jury awards the winners.
- Impulse lectures Start-ups Young companies present concepts, products and services on artificial intelligence, digital transformation and sustainability in procurement.
- Networking & exchange Numerous opportunities during group work, during breaks and afterwards.
