The Cologne Business School (CBS) and amc are jointly organizing the 3rd Future Workshop Procurement on 26th of September in Cologne. This year’s headline: „Redefining the value contribution of procurement with agile methods“. We discussed the event and agile procurement with CBS President and amc Advisory Board member Prof. Dr. Lisa Fröhlich.
New employees should quickly find their way around their job. To do this, they must be well integrated into existing processes and structures. However, it is often neglected to pass on knowledge and experience in a complete and systematic manner. The same goes for long-standing employees in change processes. For them, too, everything is suddenly new and they are not always optimally prepared for this situation.
The requirements for procurement organizations are increasing, and so is the need for training. Digitalization entails major changes. To make procurement teams fit for their new tasks, a mix of e-learning, webinars, Face-to-Face training and coaching is recommended.
